MiGroFilter-A Analytical funnels are ideal for the detection of microbial contamination in liquids whether it is final product, incoming inspection or part of in-process testing. Ready to use 47mm filtration units with removable membranes and pads, capable of holding 100ml of sample.

The MiGroFilter-A is a disposable filter with a removable Cellulose Acetate membrane designed to be placed on the base of a vacuum manifold.
Once filtration is complete the unit can be converted into a Petri dish for culturing the organisms retained, or the membrane can be subjected to further qualitative and quantitative biological analysis such as gel work.
