DISTEL is designed for the surface disinfection of all areas of modern laboratories and for the decontamination of water baths, incubators, pipettes, discard jars and centrifuges from potentially infected biological materials such as blood, urine and tissue cultures.

This formulation is based on a unique carrier technology enabling the active ingredients to be carried rapidly through cell walls of micro-organisms. The synergistic blend of active ingredients produces the fastest acting and most efficient virucidal and sporicidal disinfectant available in non-oxidising technology.

TECHNOLOGY:

DISTEL disinfectant is safe, flexible and economical to use.

Unopened concentrate has a shelf life of 3 years, factory diluted product has a shelf life of 2 years and customer diluted of 6 months.

Concentrate Dilutions

• 1:200 for general disinfection in pre-cleaned areas
• 1:100 for heavily soiled and/or high risk areas
• 1:10 in the presence of blood, body spills and bio-hazards

  DISTEL is certified using HIRL, EN and EPA approved protocols as:

  DISTEL is biodegradable under OECD conditions operations 6/1995. It is manufactured in accordance with a Quality Management System accredited to BS EN ISO9001:2008 and conforms to the requirements of the Biocidal Products Directive.
  The high level disinfectant is far safer to use than conventional products since, due to the benefit of the unique nano particulate carrier system, its key ingredients are included at a lesser volume than would otherwise be necessary.

  DISTEL is manufactured under approval by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance to the standards of BS EN ISO9001:2000 and BS-EN ISO13485:2003 for the manufacture of disinfectant and sterilising solutions for medical, dental and veterinary use.
